Stavroula Politi

Stavroula Politi joined Dr. Helen G. Papaconstantinou and Partners (“HP&P”) in 2020 after working for another IP-specialized law firm since 2014. She is a qualified lawyer and a member of the Athens Bar Association since 2012.
Stavroula holds a bachelor’s degree in law from the Law School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and also obtained a MSc in Business from Alba Graduate Business School.
She has been introduced in the world of Intellectual Property law from the very beginning of her career as an attorney, focusing mainly on cases related to trademarks, anti-counterfeiting and domain name disputes. Stavroula has extensive experience in handling trademark prosecution in a national and EU level as well as in foreign jurisdictions, trademark clearance searches and, in addition, opposition and cancellation proceedings before the EUIPO. She is also involved in providing legal advice on all aspects of brand protection and enforcement of IP rights, while within the context of her activity thus far, she has represented various international corporate clients to ensure the protection and defence of their IP rights before the local enforcement bodies, including customs and police authorities.
In the WTR 1000 2024-2026 (bronze) Intellectual Property rankings, Stavroula is mentioned as a recommended individual, while in the Legal 500 2024-2025 rankings she has been highlighted under other key lawyers. She has also been selected as Anti-Counterfeiting Law Expert of the Year in Greece by Corporate INTL – Global Awards 2025 & 2026 and the 2025 Global Advisory Experts Annual Awards.
She is fluent in English and Greek (native language) and has good knowledge of French.
Stavroula regularly writes articles on anti-counterfeiting topics and is a contributor to prestigious IP resources.
